Establishing a Line
Dear Parents,
All of us youth pastor types know full well we have three groups of people that we aim to serve and partner with, that being students, adult volunteers, and you. And for whatever reason, partnering with you as parents has been one of the trickier parts of my job.
Whether it's been simple communication about events, or the real challenging part supporting you as parents as you seek to raise your teenage student, I haven't been overly proactive in building networks and relationships with all of you.
So for that I am sorry. And this is one way I seek to improve. Hopefully this can be a place where communication can begin. And relationships established. And trust build. So here's to establishing a line of communication.
Because Lord knows I can't have a flourishing youth group without you.

Phil, 1st of all this is a wonderful idea to blog, for those whom have the capabilities to get it. Save a tree & $$$ if possible.
2nd - Your "Be the Church" is so moving and hopefully more people than just Real Life will get up and be moved also. Thanks for all you and the Teens are doing.
